Funk Flex Believes Tory Lanez Is Innocent In Shooting Case
Veteran hip-hop personality Funk Flex has thrown his support behind young platinum-selling rapper Tory Lanez, who is currently facing charges stemming from a shooting incident in August 2021. In a recent interview, Flex expressed his belief in Lanez’s innocence, citing the lack of concrete evidence against him.
“I don’t believe Tory is guilty,” Flex stated. “From what I’ve seen, there’s no concrete evidence, no hard evidence. It’s a bunch of he-said, she-said, and I don’t believe it.”
Flex also pointed out that the prosecution’s case relies heavily on the testimony of one person, particularly the accuser, and that he believes the alleged victim’s credibility is questionable. “The thing is, they’re using one person’s word over a regular, innocent man’s word. That ain’t right,” he emphasized.
Funk Flex’s comments come at a time when Lanez is facing serious charges, including felony assault with a semi-automatic firearm, and is currently out on bond. While the case is ongoing, Flex’s public endorsement of the rapper may help to generate more support for Lanez and potentially sway public opinion in his favor.
