Former NFL Player Robert Quinn Arrested After Alleged Hit-and-Run Crash

Former NFL player Robert Quinn was arrested in South Carolina early Friday morning after allegedly attempting to flee the scene of a crash involving multiple vehicles. According to reports, the 34-year-old was taken into custody by law enforcement in North Charleston around 2 a.m. after police say he tried to leave the scene of the crash he is accused of causing.

Quinn, a former defensive end for the Los Angeles Rams, was booked into the Charleston County Jail on charges of leaving the scene and reckless driving. The incident allegedly occurred at a car dealership, where a pickup truck registered to Quinn crashed into a car, causing that vehicle to hit two others. Police say video evidence shows Quinn’s truck swerving on the road before ultimately driving onto the dealership property.

According to reports, Quinn had visible injuries to his face and his speech was slurred when he was taken into custody. He was also allegedly uncooperative with law enforcement and was eventually removed from the car he was in before being arrested. This is not the first time Quinn has been accused of leaving the scene of a crash, as he was previously arrested for a similar incident in August 2023.

Quinn last played in the NFL during the 2022 season and has had a successful career, playing for the Rams, Miami Dolphins, and Philadelphia Eagles, among others. He has also led his teams in sacks multiple times throughout his career.
