Senators John Fetterman and Lindsey Graham Call for Destruction of Iran’s Nuclear Program
Senators John Fetterman, D-Pa., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., are both calling for the destruction of Iran’s nuclear program. During an interview on “Face the Nation,” Graham declared that he doesn’t think diplomacy works with Iran, describing the country as a “religious Nazi regime” that wants to “destroy the Jewish State.” He hopes that Israel will make an effort to decimate Iran’s nuclear program, supported by the United States, and warned that if they don’t, it will be a historical mistake.
Fetterman agreed with Graham’s call for the decimation of Iran’s nuclear program, stating “One Hundred Percent” in a post on Twitter. Graham responded, “Spot on, @SenFettermanPA. You get it.”
Fetterman, an outspoken supporter of Israel, has previously advocated for the destruction of Iran’s nuclear program. “Whatever remains of Iran’s nuclear program needs to be destroyed and I fully support efforts to do so,” he tweeted earlier this month.
Graham and Fetterman’s calls for the destruction of Iran’s nuclear program come as tensions between the United States and Iran continue to escalate.
