Fast & Furious 11 Concludes Series by Finally Bringing Back Fan-Favorite Brian O’Connor

Fast & Furious 11, the latest installment in the iconic franchise, is being hailed as the series’ final chapter. As such, the franchise must find a way to honor the memory of Paul Walker, who played the character Brian O’Conner in six movies. Walker’s untimely death in 2013 has left a gaping hole in the story, and ignoring Brian’s character further would undo the entire franchise.

The franchise has been respectful of Walker’s memory, including his character in multiple movies through various means, such as flashbacks and emotional tributes. However, the upcoming Fast X: Part 2 must do more to include Brian in the finale. Fans are eagerly anticipating the return of the character, who was once at the heart of the franchise’s story.

Ignoring Brian’s absence would strain credibility, given the strong bonds he formed with other characters in the series. Fans have grown accustomed to his absence being attributed to his dedication to taking care of his children, but the character’s off-screen activities are increasingly unbelievable.

To have a proper ending, the franchise must find a way to incorporate Brian in the finale, possibly through the use of visual effects or subtle references. Anything less would feel like a betrayal of the characters and the audience.
