Former WWE Star Melina Reported “Safe” After Los Angeles Wildfire Concerns

A Matter of Pride Wrestling has announced that former WWE star Melina is “safe” after concerns were raised over her whereabouts amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. The professional wrestling company expressed gratitude to fans for their concern and support.

Melina Perez, 45, was born in Los Angeles and began her pro wrestling career in 2001. She burst onto the WWE scene after appearing on “Tough Enough” in 2002, and went on to have a successful singles run, winning the WWE Women’s Championship three times and the WWE Divas Championship twice.

The Los Angeles wildfires have killed over a dozen people and left thousands of structures and acres of land burned. Melina’s company, A Matter of Pride Wrestling, thanked fans for their outreach and kindness during this time.

Melina competed in the wrestling world from 2001 to 2021, also performing for the National Wrestling Alliance and TNA Wrestling.
