Ex-WWE star Melina reported safe after Los Angeles wildfires.

Former WWE Star Melina Reported Safe Amid Los Angeles Wildfires

A Matter of Pride Wrestling announced on Sunday that former WWE star Melina is safe after concerns were raised about her whereabouts during the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

Melina, whose real name is Melina Perez, made contact with the wrestling company and confirmed she was safe. The company thanked fans for their concern, support, and outreach, stating that the kindness and compassion meant the world to them.

Melina was born in Los Angeles and entered the pro wrestling world in 2001. She burst onto the WWE scene in 2002 after appearing on “Tough Enough,” a reality show aimed at discovering new talent. Although she didn’t win the spot, she later became the valet for the MNM tag team and had a successful singles run, holding the WWE Women’s Championship three times and the WWE Divas Championship twice.

The Los Angeles wildfires have had a devastating impact, killing more than a dozen people and leaving thousands of structures and acres of land burned.
