Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen’s Engagement to Hailey Steinfeld Not Met with Celebrations from Ex-Girlfriend Brittany Williams
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s recent engagement to actress Hailey Steinfeld has not been received with joy from everyone, particularly his ex-girlfriend, Instagram influencer Brittany Williams. Upon the announcement of Allen’s engagement, Williams deleted a comment and a post from her account, which sparked suspicion that she was addressing the situation. The deleted comment was in response to a user asking if she hadn’t found her “next athlete yet.” Williams wrote, “Luckily my boyfriend owns a team and doesn’t have to play for one. Don’t have to be with another brain dead CTE athlete.”
Later, she posted a story claiming that her account had been hacked, but that story was also deleted. The current boyfriend of Williams is unknown.
In an interview on the “Martinis and Bikinis” podcast in February, Williams opened up about her split from Allen, stating that the past 10 years with him were difficult, but she has since moved on and is having the “Sex and the City” experience. She also expressed her dissatisfaction with the dating scene in New York, saying it’s “crazy” and “hard, but it’s beautiful because it makes you realize everything you want and makes you not settle for anything more than that.”
The breakup rumors between Allen and Williams surfaced in May 2023, with Williams unfollowing the quarterback on Instagram, celebrating her birthday without him, and removing mentions of Buffalo from her account. The two were later spotted at the Kentucky Derby, but without each other, with Williams’ friend posting an eyebrow-raising message on her Instagram Stories, “Now accepting husband applications @brittwilll.”
Meanwhile, Allen and Steinfeld kept their relationship private, only being spotted together a few times in public. They are set to tie the knot, making them one of the NFL’s most private power couples, unlike others like Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
