Some are fleeing social media, with prominent figures like Alyssa Milano, Mark Hamill, Stephen King, and Don Lemon abandoning Twitter for new platforms like Bluesky. Businesses and media outlets like 3M, Balenciaga, the Guardian, and NPR have also made the switch.
Meanwhile, MSNBC is experiencing a ratings collapse, with viewership declining by 48% following the election. The network’s “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski have even faced backlash for meeting with President-elect Trump, with some calling for them to be fired.
In addition to fleeing social media and MSNBC, some leftists are literally leaving the United States. Former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi have decamped to England, while other celebrities have threatened to leave the country if their side doesn’t win.
