Saquon Barkley found the end zone three times for his Philadelphia Eagles, as they crushed the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship to secure their spot in Super Bowl LIX. However, the last touchdown scored for Philadelphia was special for a different reason. Will Shipley, the rookie running back out of Clemson, scored his first-ever NFL touchdown, and cameras captured Barkley’s over-the-top reaction on the sidelines.

Barkley, who got most of the playing time, celebrated wildly as Shipley was celebrating on the field. What made it even more impressive was Shipley’s 57-yard dash down the field that put the Eagles in the red zone again. Despite having only 82 yards on 30 attempts during the regular season, Shipley’s big play showed the Eagles’ coaching staff and his teammates that he’s a talented player.

Barkley’s reaction was a testament to his team-first mentality. He was hyped to see Shipley get his moment in the spotlight, especially in the playoffs. This isn’t a new trend for Barkley, who famously told his head coach to let the backups get their time on the field against his former team, the New York Giants. In the end, the Eagles’ big win and Shipley’s touchdown served as a special moment for the team.
