A Philadelphia Eagles fan is fighting for his life after falling from a light pole in the city, authorities have reported. The 18-year-old fell from a pole on the corner of 15th and Market streets and was transported to Jefferson Hospital with brain trauma, according to ABC 6 in Philly.
This incident comes after a night of chaos in Philadelphia, with several fans climbing poles and engaging in dangerous behavior throughout the city. Other incidents included a shooting, stabbing, and assaults, with four people arrested and 31 citations handed down. Additionally, three people were injured after a woman crashed her car into a crowd of people.
Despite the chaos, the Eagles were able to celebrate a major victory, defeating the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship game. The win marks the team’s third trip to the Super Bowl since 2018, with their first two appearances resulting in a split. The team will play in Super Bowl LIX, which will be streamed on Tubi.
