Eagles coach Nick Sirianni says Jalen Hurts was having fun with postgame “straitjacket” comment.

Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts Leads Team to Dominant Win Over Commanders

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts played through a knee injury to lead his team to a 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders. Despite being listed on the practice report all week, Hurts never missed a session and was not listed on the game’s injury report. He rushed for three touchdowns and added three more on the ground to help seal the victory.

Hurts’ performance was aided by the incredible rushing performance from Saquon Barkley, who produced 115 yards and three touchdowns on just 15 carries. The Eagles’ ground attack helped open up the passing game, and Hurts took advantage, posting a strong outing through the air.

The Eagles’ defense also played a key role in the win, causing four turnovers against the Commanders. With the win, the Eagles will now face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on February 9.

Hurts’ performance was praised by head coach Nick Sirianni, who commended his quarterback’s hard work and mentality. The win was a testament to the team’s ability to win in multiple ways, and Hurts’ leadership was a key factor in their success.

The Eagles’ quarterback will now look to become just the eighth quarterback in NFL history to start multiple Super Bowls in their first five career seasons. With a strong performance against the Chiefs, Hurts can cement his place in history and lead his team to their second Super Bowl title in three years.
