A Missouri man, 25-year-old Dakota Trevon Crater, was pulled over by police on Friday night for speeding on Interstate 35 in Claycomo, a village just 10 miles north of Kansas City. Crater was driving a 2023 Nissan Sentra and was cited for exceeding the posted 65 mph speed limit. When questioned by police, Crater admitted to being preoccupied and playing a video game while driving, unaware that he was going 107 mph.
Crater is also facing charges related to driving on a suspended license. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 15. Despite being questioned about the incident, investigators did not ask Crater about the specific video game he was playing while driving.
A review of Crater’s TikTok page, which is dedicated to the online game “My Hero Ultra Rumble”, reveals that he is a big fan of the 24-player battle royale game. In October, Crater posted a series of clips showcasing his gaming skills in the free online game.
