Deion Sanders’ son likens himself to Trump in criticizing those who demeaning others.

Shedeur Sanders, the son of former NFL star Deion Sanders, is expected to be a top pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Deion, now the head coach at the University of Colorado, has guided the program to success, and his name has been floated around the NFL rumor mill as a potential coach candidate in the future.

Shedeur’s brother, Shilo, is not as highly touted as his sibling, but he was invited to the Senior Bowl to give scouts an opportunity to evaluate his skills. However, his practice performances did not go well, with several videos of him getting beat going viral. In response to the criticism, Shilo compared himself to President Donald Trump, stating that people tend to focus on the negative aspects of a person’s character.

Shilo acknowledged that receiving negative attention can be frustrating, especially when one is working hard to improve their skills. However, he stated that he is focused on what his coaches, family, and close friends think, and they do not let the criticism affect him. In the actual Senior Bowl game, Shilo played better, recording five tackles and a pass breakup on his team.

Shilo joined the University of Colorado alongside his father and brother at the end of the 2022 season, moving from Jackson State. In his first season with the Buffaloes, he played in 10 games, recording 67 tackles as a cornerback, the same position his father held during his Hall of Fame career.
