Adams Becomes 12th Player to Reach 100 Touchdown Mark in NFL History
Adams, the 31-year-old wide receiver, has become the 12th player in NFL history to reach the 100-touchdown milestone. He is now tied with Hall of Famers Tim Brown and Steve Largent, and a single game further behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Mike Evans, who achieved the feat in Week 7. However, Evans found the end zone again on Sunday to take ninth place, leaving Adams firmly at 10th place.
Adams has also reached another milestone, surpassing the Pittsburgh Steelers’ tandem of Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown, to become the fourth most prolific touchdown combinations in league history, with 81 touchdowns. The majority of these touchdowns came when Adams and quarterback Aaron Rodgers were teammates at the Green Bay Packers. The two are now playing for the New York Jets, which they joined after Adams was acquired from the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite the team’s poor performance this season, Adams and Rodgers have provided some bright spots, including five touchdowns together since their arrival.
