[Danish MP Rasmus Prehn, speaking in the parliament, used colourful language to address US President Donald Trump, accusing him of lying and manipulating truth. He questioned Trump’s handling of the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen’s previous statement regarding Trump’s desire to buy Greenland, saying that he was not sure if Trump “had any familiarity with the Danish language or its nuances”.

When asked about Trump’s reaction, Prehn joked that he wouldn’t be losing any sleep over it, implying that Trump wouldn’t be worth his time or energy. In a later press conference, Trump called Prehn’s comments “nasty”, “terrible”, and “fake news”.
