Dame Dash Fires Back At N.O.R.E.: ‘JAY-Z Didn’t Want To Sign Him’
Dame Dash has fired back at N.O.R.E. after the Queensbridge rapper tweeted that Dash offered him a deal to sign with Roc-A-Fella Records in the early 2000s, but JAY-Z vetoed the signing. According to Dash, that simply isn’t true.
“JAY-Z didn’t want to sign N.O.R.E. period,” Dash tweeted. “I offered him a deal, he said no. He didn’t want him in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005…I was the one who pushed to sign him, not the other way around.”
Dash added that he’s “tired of people trying to rewrite history” and “make themselves sound better” by spitting false narratives. He insisted that he knows what really went down and isn’t afraid to speak the truth.
It appears that this feud between the two hip-hop heavyweights won’t be dying down anytime soon.
