Cyberattack sparks chaos in ‘Zero Day’ trailer, starring Robert De Niro.

Zero Day Trailer Sets the Stage for a Gripping Cyberattack Thriller

The latest trailer for Zero Day, a new Netflix limited series, plunges viewers into a world of chaos and devastation. The clip opens with a breaking news report from Wolf Blitzer, detailing a “zero day” event, a cyberattack that has left the country reeling with widespread technology outages, hijacked computers, and thousands of fatalities.

As the crisis unfolds, former U.S. President George Mullen, played by Robert De Niro, is brought back into the White House inner circle to head up the Zero Day Commission, tasked with finding those responsible for the devastating attack. But as Mullen delves deeper into the mystery, his own dark secrets are threatened to be exposed, and he must confront the truth while putting everything he holds dear at risk.

The trailer hints that Mullen may be hiding something, with his wife, played by Joan Allen, questioning his sanity. The footage also warns of civil liberties being stripped away and conspiracy theories being perpetuated.

The series, which premieres on February 20, boasts an all-star cast, including Jesse Plemons, Lizzy Caplan, Connie Britton, Matthew Modine, and Angela Bassett. Clark Gregg and Gaby Hoffmann make guest appearances. Zero Day marks De Niro’s first series regular role, and the six-episode limited series is written and executive produced by Eric Newman, Noah Oppenheim, and Lesli Linka Glatter.
