Coy riders join California Highway Patrol’s high-speed dirt bike pursuit in LA.

California Highway Patrol is Searching for Dirt Bike Riders Who Led Multi-City Chase

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is on the lookout for two dirt bike riders who started a high-speed chase involving over a dozen other bikers on Thursday afternoon. The chase spanned multiple cities, including Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, Inglewood, Mid-City, and Pico Union.

The initial two suspects, who were riding white and purple dirt bikes and wearing dark clothing, allegedly called additional riders to join them on the chase. Other bikers, also riding the same color bikes and wearing the same clothing, joined the group, trying to evade law enforcement.

The chase was captured by aerial cameras, which showed bikers and ATV riders performing wheelies and using their cellphones to recruit more riders. At times, the riders were driving on the wrong side of the road.

Unfortunately, no details have been released regarding the charges that prompted the initial pursuit. The chase ended after about 30 minutes, with authorities deciding to call it off.

The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the incident and has not confirmed the specific charges that led to the initial pursuit. The agency has yet to release any further information on the case, including the identities of the suspects.
