Country Star Sued and Wanted for Arrest After Alleged Bond Violation to Attend CMAs

Auston Tanner, a country music singer, has a warrant out for his arrest after allegedly violating his bond conditions by attending the 2024 CMA Awards in Nashville without seeking court approval. According to documents obtained by Fox News Digital, a warrant was issued on November 26 for Tanner’s arrest after he traveled to the awards show on November 20 without permission.

Tanner was released on $20,000 bond and was not allowed to “depart the state without leave of court” without permission. The documents state that Tanner was fully aware of this condition and that his public Facebook and Instagram posts showing him attending the conference and walking the red carpet with his wife Skyla on November 20, 21, provided evidence of the violation.

The state is seeking to revoke Tanner’s bond, citing his “public disregard for those restrictions.” Tanner’s attorney did not immediately respond to request for comment. A hearing for a motion to revoke his bond is scheduled for December 4.
