Cops investigate potential connection between New Orleans terror attack and Tesla Cybertruck explosion.

COPS are probing a possible link between the New Orleans rampage and the Tesla Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas, Joe Biden has revealed.

The New Orleans rampage saw at least 15 people killed when a driver plowed his white pickup into revellers on Bourbon Street before opening fire. The attacker, Shamsud Din Jabbar, 42, a US citizen from Texas, was shot dead by police.

Elon Musk has claimed that both the Cybertruck and the Ford used in the New Orleans attack had been rented from the same company, and that the event may be an act of terrorism. The Tesla Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas was also considered to be linked to the incident.

Biden has said that federal law enforcement is investigating whether there is a connection between the two events. A flag with a similar design to the ISIS flag was found at the scene of the New Orleans attack, which is being treated as an “act of terrorism”.

The attacker, Jabbar, was born and raised in Texas and was a US Army veteran. He had only recently converted to Islam and was said to be “being all crazy” by the new husband of his ex-wife.

The explosion in Las Vegas was also an “isolated incident” but was being treated as a terror attack. Las Vegas police were investigating any possible links between the two events, but initially believed the incident was an accident.

The suspect in the New Orleans attack has been identified by the FBI and the public have been asked to come forward if they interacted with him recently. The identity of the victims has begun to emerge, with names including 18-year-old Nikyra Cheyenne Dedeaux, dad-of-two Reggie Hunter, 37, and football player Tiger Bech, 27.
