Conor McGregor Accused of Trying to Rape Woman in VIP Bathroom
Conor McGregor, the 36-year-old UFC fighter, has been accused of trying to sexually assault a woman in a VIP bathroom at the Kaseya Center in Miami in June 2023. The alleged incident took place after a Miami Heat game, with the woman claiming that McGregor’s security team and venue staff ignored her cries for help and stopped her friend from entering a stall to assist her.
According to the woman’s lawsuit, McGregor, who was “intoxicated and out of control,” took her to a VIP men’s bathroom and allegedly tried to force her to perform a sex act on him “without her consent.” The woman claims that she was thrown against the wall, put in an arm lock, and spat on when she tried to leave.
The alleged victim, a 49-year-old woman who works on Wall Street, has filed a civil lawsuit against McGregor, seeking damages, medical costs, and compensation. She has also accused the Kaseya Center of negligence for failing to provide a safe environment and ignoring the heightened risk of battery on the night of the alleged assault.
McGregor’s attorney, Barbara Llanes, has denied the allegations, stating that the State’s Attorney concluded that there was no case to pursue after a thorough investigation. The UFC fighter’s social media representative did not comment on the matter.
This is not the first time McGregor has faced allegations of sexual assault. In 2022, he was found liable in a civil court for assaulting a woman at a Dublin hotel in 2018. He was ordered to pay her nearly 250,000 euros in damages. The UFC has not commented on the latest allegations.
