Source Code’s High-Concept Storyline Leads to Fast-Paced Action Sequences in a Doomed Train
Source Code, a 2011 sci-fi thriller, stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Army Captain Colter Stevens, who finds himself stuck in an eight-minute simulated time loop on a doomed train. As he relives the same eight minutes, Colter’s mission is to identify the train bomber, but the scenario’s many repetitions hold more meaning due to a major twist.
According to Beleaguered Castle, Colter is participating in the Source Code program, which uses his short-term memory to thrust him into the eight minutes leading up to a bombing.
