Coco Gauff Slams “Haters” Over Spotify Support After Sharing Apple Music Replay List

American tennis star Coco Gauff has revealed her top music artists and albums of the year, using Apple Music Replay to provide a roundup of her listening habits over the past year. According to her social media post, Gauff frequently streams music by Beyoncé, Tyler the Creator, and Frank Ocean.

Gauff, who is currently the world’s third-ranked women’s tennis player, responded to criticism of her Apple Music Replay unveiling by asking, “Why is everyone an Apple music hater??” She went on to list the benefits of Apple Music, including the ability to see top albums, top genres, and have spatial audio, before suggesting that Spotify users have an issue with the competing streamer.

Gauff has been a fan of live music events, having recently attended the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles. She has also spoken about the importance of music in her tennis career, stating that she listens to music every day, especially in competition, and uses her headphones to get in the zone and focus.

Gauff’s love of music has also led her to partner with Bose, saying that it was an easy decision for her to join the brand given her daily use of music. She recently won the Women’s Tennis Association Finals title, defeating Zhen Qinwen in the process.
