Cincy’s Joe Burrow’s Home Burglarized During Last-Second NFL Win

The house of NFL star Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, was reportedly broken into while he was playing in a game against the Dallas Cowboys in Texas. The break-in occurred in Burrow’s home in Anderson Township, Ohio, which he purchased for $7.5 million in 2023. According to a 911 call made by model Olivia Ponton, someone was trying to break into the house, which was being stayed at by Ponton’s daughter, who was with Burrow’s girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher.

The caller reported that someone was in the house, and the dispatcher encouraged her to hide or evacuate immediately. A man who was working security at the house was also on the line, confirming that someone had entered the property.

This isn’t the first time a football player’s home has been targeted for burglary. In recent weeks, Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce had their homes broken into, with items stolen. The NFL has issued a security alert to teams and the player’s union, warning that the homes of professional athletes have become increasingly targeted by organized and skilled groups.

The FBI is investigating the burglaries, which are believed to be part of an international organized crime ring. The burglars often target homes on game days when the players are away, stealing valuables such as cash, jewelry, and handbags. The NFL has advised players to be cautious, not to post on social media in real-time, and to install security systems and keep valuables out of sight.
