With just over a week until Super Bowl LIX on FOX, let’s take a step away from football and explore other betting possibilities. Here are a few wagers I have in my pocket:
The French Open: Iga Swiatek is a strong contender to win the French Open, having won the tournament four times, including each of the last three. With her improving skills and a healthy body, it will be tough for anyone to beat her on her best surface. Some may point to her loss to Madison Keys at the Olympics, but the court conditions are different in May/June. Take Iga Swiatek at -175 to win the French Open.
NBA Western Conference: The Thunder have the best record in the West and will only get better with the return of Chet Holmgren from injury. It’s hard to see any other team beating them in a seven-game series. Take the Thunder at +110 to win the Western Conference.
Premier League: Liverpool are heavy favorites to win the Premier League, and with a six-point lead over Arsenal and a game in hand, it would be a historic collapse for them not to win. Take Liverpool at +125 to win the Premier League and League Cup.
Masters Tournament: Will Zalatoris is an underrated golfer who has shown glimpses of his pre-injury form. His game is well-suited for Augusta National, and at 46-1, he’s a good value bet. Take Will Zalatoris to win the Masters.
