Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany have welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Golden Raye. The couple’s new addition comes after having two children already, Bronze and Sterling. When asked if he wanted more children, Mahomes mentioned that he’s good with three for the time being, but didn’t rule out the possibility of having more in the future.
In addition, Mahomes praised his wife Brittany, saying she “crushed it” after giving birth to their new baby girl. He also mentioned that the other siblings are adjusting well to the new addition, using terms like “baby sissy” to refer to the newborn. Mahomes also shared that he was able to watch some football while in the hospital with his wife, which was a welcome distraction during the process.
Mahomes also addressed whether having three children has made it easier for him to manage, but preferred not to say so, saying that his wife has been handling the majority of the workload at home. He did note, however, that the bye week gave him a chance to focus on being present at the hospital for the birth and supporting his family.
With his new addition, Mahomes now has to focus on the upcoming game against the Houston Texans and a potential seventh-straight trip to the AFC Championship. As for future plans, only time will tell if he and his wife decide to have more children.
