Chiefs Backer Places $1.3 Million Bet on Kansas City to Defeat Bills in AFC Championship.

One Bettor is Hoping History Repeats Itself as Chiefs Take on Bills

One bold bettor is hoping that history repeats itself when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game this weekend. The bettor placed a $1.3 million wager on the Chiefs moneyline (-130) at Caesars Sportsbook, with a potential payout of $2.3 million.

The Chiefs are currently favored to win by -1.5, while the Bills moneyline is +114. The Chiefs have been to seven straight AFC Championship games, winning four of the last five and going on to win three Super Bowls, including two straight.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy in three straight seasons. Mahomes himself is hoping to build more memories with his teammates and the community, having won multiple Super Bowls.

The rivalry between the Bills and Chiefs has seen three of Buffalo’s last four playoff runs come to an end thanks to Kansas City. However, the Bills are looking to break that trend and pull off an upset this weekend. The game is scheduled for Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium.
