The past year was filled with several shocking and viral police encounters and courtroom moments. From a defendant who attacked a judge in court to a man who opened fire on deputies, these incidents have left a lasting impact on the public.

Redden, who had been denied bond, threw himself over the bench and attacked the judge, causing injuries to both the judge and the marshal.
