Speaking to The Undefeated, the former NBA star explained the context behind the photo. “It was a moment, you know, where we just decided to take a risk and see where it goes. Sometimes you gotta take a risk, you know? Life is all about taking risks. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn’t. But we just decided to take that risk that night.”
Anthony went on to say that he and Rihanna had a great connection from the very beginning, and that it wasn’t just a one-off encounter. “We just clicked, you know? We just met and clicked. It was one of those special moments where people come together and just, you know, click. We laughed, we talked, we had a great conversation… We just connected, period.”
