Cameron Diaz is back in the spotlight with her new Netflix film “Back in Action,” alongside Jamie Foxx, marking her first role in over a decade. In a recent appearance on “The Graham Norton Show,” Diaz shared that it was Foxx who convinced her to return to Hollywood after a 10-year hiatus.

Diaz praised her costar, saying, “If I was going to leave my family for 10 hours a day, I wanted to do it with the most talented man in the entertainment business.” The two actors have a long history of collaborating, having appeared in “Any Given Sunday” and “Annie” together in the past.

Outside of acting, Diaz has been busy with her personal life, including being a wife and mother to two children with her husband, musician Benji Madden. She has also explored her entrepreneurial side, becoming a successful author and businesswoman.

Referring to her time away from the spotlight, Diaz said, “I loved those 10 years for me and my family. But I thought, ‘If I let this go away, if I don’t engage again, and if I don’t give it a chance, I am a fool.'”

The actress expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to return to acting, stating, “It is a privilege to make films, and we are all so lucky to do what we do. That the door was even open for me after a decade was amazing.” With “Back in Action,” fans can look forward to seeing Diaz back in her element, bringing her signature charm and wit to the big screen once again.
