WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark Reveals Fun Night with Taylor Swift at NFL Postseason Game
WNBA star Caitlin Clark shared her experience attending an NFL postseason game with singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, who is a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. The duo sat in a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs took on the Houston Texans, on January 18.
Clark, a huge Chiefs fan herself, praised Swift’s kindness and their shared enthusiasm for the team. “Taylor is very sweet and very kind, and it’s a good reminder that people in our position are very normal,” Clark said. “We enjoy watching sports and hanging out with our friends. It puts a great perspective on life.”
The meeting between the Chiefs and Texans ended up being “a perfect game” for Clark and Swift, with the Chiefs winning 30-24. Clark expressed her excitement over sharing the experience with Swift, saying it was “cute to see how excited she is for the Chiefs and getting to share that. I was like, ‘Oh my God, she loves this. She loves the Chiefs as much as me, This is incredible.'”
The surprise appearance by Clark at the game caught the attention of longtime sports commentator Skip Bayless, who questioned whether Clark “needed to be seen with” Swift. However, Clark and Swift seemed to enjoy each other’s company, and the experience may have provided a welcome break from their respective busy schedules.
