Broncos to focus on postseason push, disregarding Chiefs matchup in Week 18.

The Denver Broncos nearly upset the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this season, with the Chiefs’ starters giving it their all and the Broncos playing exceptionally well. This time around, the Chiefs may not be giving it their all, but the Broncos shouldn’t take comfort in that.

“We don’t care who shows up and plays,” said head coach Nathaniel Sutton. “We don’t care who sits. We don’t care who doesn’t play, who does play. We don’t care about any of that. The Denver Broncos have to show up Sunday and win the game.”

In their previous game, the Broncos had a chance to clinch their playoff spot but lost to the Bengals in overtime, keeping their postseason hopes alive for the Bengals and Dolphins. Sutton emphasizes that this loss, and the six others they’ve had, are now in the past and doesn’t hold any value in their current situation.

A win this Sunday, in a rival game, is the best way to secure a playoff spot, and Sutton believes this is the best opportunity for the Broncos to prove themselves worthy of being in the postseason.
