Bo Nickal Picks Up Victory Against Paul Craig in UFC 309, Meets with President-Elect Trump
UFC middleweight Bo Nickal won a unanimous decision victory against Paul Craig in UFC 309 on Saturday night, and in the aftermath of the match, he got to spend some time with President-elect Donald Trump.
During the post-fight press conference, Nickal praised Trump, calling him “just the man” and saying that it was an honor to be around him. Nickal said that even the presidential aura didn’t faze him, noting that it’s become normal to be around Trump due to all the time they’ve spent together.
After the fight, Nickal even got to show off his golf swing to Trump, who offered some constructive criticism and suggested they play a round or two together at his Doral course in Florida. Nickal has said that he’s looking forward to improving his swing with the president’s help.
UFC President Dana White was also spotted talking to Trump ringside during the event. It’s been a big weekend for the UFC, with Trump himself even praising the organization as “positive for the world” earlier in the day.
