Blake Lively Receives Support from Colleen Hoover and “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” Cast Amid Allegations Against Justin Baldoni
Blake Lively is receiving high-profile support from author Colleen Hoover and her “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” co-stars amid allegations she’s made against her “It Ends With Us” director and co-star, Justin Baldoni. Hoover, the author of the book that the film was based on, posted a message of support on her Instagram stories, praising Lively for being “nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient” since the day they met.
Lively’s co-stars from “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”, including America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel, also released a joint statement in support of Lively. They stood with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign to destroy her reputation. The statement read that Lively “summoned the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set” and that they are “appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice”.
The allegations against Baldoni include sexual harassment and a coordinated plan to “destroy” Lively’s reputation. Baldoni has denied the allegations, calling them “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious”. The New York Times obtained a complaint filed by Lively with the California Civil Rights Department.
