A group of friends returning from a night out celebrating one of their birthdays was left shaken to their core after a devastating car crash took the life of one of their close friend. Shocking footage has emerged of the tragic accident, showing the car veering off the road and crashing into a tree.
The group of friends, all in their early twenties, were driving along a winding road in rural Ohio when the driver lost control of the vehicle. Security cameras in the area captured the moment the car swerved onto the gravel shoulder, striking a tree with such force that it split the vehicle in two.
Tanya Marie Hof, a 22-year-old passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others were seriously injured, with two of them left with potentially life-altering injuries.
