Bill Gates Calls Spending Time with Jeffrey Epstein a “Huge Mistake”

In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, spoke about his past relationship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Gates, 69, admitted that he was “foolish” and “quite stupid” for spending time with Epstein, citing that it was a “huge mistake.”

According to Gates, he met with Epstein a number of times, starting in 2010, when Epstein was trying to use the billionaire to help sanitize his own marred image. Gates claims that he thought meeting with Epstein would help him further his global health philanthropy efforts, but in reality, it did not.

Gates’ comments echo earlier statements he has made about Epstein, as well as those made by his ex-wife Melinda Gates, who has described Epstein as “evil personified.” Melinda Gates has also revealed that she was wary of her husband’s interactions with Epstein, meeting him only once.

Gates’ latest book, “Source Code: My Beginnings,” is set to release on February 4, and the billionaire has been speaking publicly about his past, including his association with Epstein. He has described the situation as a valuable lesson in being more cautious about his connections.

Epstein was a notorious predator who pleaded guilty to procuring underaged girls in 2008 and was found dead in a jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
