Biden’s ‘You Don’t Need to Know’ Presidency Ends with Drone Debacle

Up in the Air: Biden Administration’s Credibility on Fire with Mysterious Drones Over New Jersey

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the Biden administration’s final bit of credibility on fire in the form of giant mysterious drones over New Jersey. As President Joe Biden limps away from one of the worst presidencies in American history, these unidentified flying objects, whatever they are, serve as a reminder that the general attitude of this White House towards the American people has been, “you don’t need to know that.”

The Biden administration has consistently demonstrated a lack of transparency, particularly when it comes to sharing information with the American public. This was evident when, in 2021, Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked then-Press Secretary Jen Psaki how many COVID-19 breakthrough cases had been detected at the White House. Her response was telling: “Why do you need that information?” In other words, you don’t need to know.

The recent drone sightings in New Jersey are just the latest example of the administration’s lack of transparency. The White House claims it has no idea what the drones are, nor are they particularly curious about it. The size of a minivan, these aerial objects are hovering above the Garden State, and yet the White House seems uninterested in explaining their purpose or origin.

Meanwhile, White House Spokesman Admiral John Kirby has been dispatched to face the cameras, making statements that defy logic, such as “we don’t have the slightest idea what the hell these things are, but we’re pretty sure there is no danger associated with them.” How can the administration claim to know there’s no danger when it has no idea what the objects are? It’s a classic case of they say “trust us” without providing any reason to do so.

The Biden administration loves to call itself the most transparent in history, but it’s clear that this is just another empty claim. In reality, the administration has repeatedly lied to the American people, and even if they were to provide an explanation for the drones, why would anyone believe it? Why would we assume it’s anything but another attempt to keep information from us that we don’t need to know?

It’s little wonder that the American people have lost faith in the Biden administration. As the president prepares to leave office, it’s clear that his legacy will be one of secrecy, deception, and a lack of accountability. Fortunately, with the upcoming transfer of power, there’s a chance for the new administration to restore trust between the White House and the citizenry. The question is, will they seize this opportunity, or will they follow in the footsteps of their predecessors, prioritizing power over people?
