Biden’s record will stand the test of time, says former Hillary Clinton advisor.

Former Hillary Clinton advisor and CNN contributor Karen Finney argued on Sunday that President Biden’s record “will stand the test of time” as he leaves office. Finney credited Biden with helping the country recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, getting vaccines distributed, and investing in the country.

Finney acknowledged that some critics have called out the administration for not disclosing Biden’s mental state, but dismissed it in favor of his foreign policy accomplishments. She also praised Biden’s work on the Chips and Science Act, which she believes will be “transformational” for communities across the country.

Finney’s fellow panelist, Scott Jennings, pushed back against her claims, saying that Biden will be remembered for his poor health, the Hunter Biden pardon, and the disastrous Afghanistan pullout. Jennings also accused the White House of covering up Biden’s mental acuity issues for four years.

A recent Fox News poll found that only 41% of Americans approve of Biden’s presidency, with only 7% believing he is “one of the greatest” presidents. A Marquette Law School national poll conducted in December found Biden’s approval rating at a near-record low of 34%.
