Top Members of President Biden’s Cabinet Stand by Their Support for His Leadership
As President Biden’s term in office comes to a close, top members of his Cabinet remain steadfast in their support for his leadership and ability to serve out his term. Despite a year of controversy and debate over his ability to continue in office, Cabinet officials have reaffirmed their confidence in the President.
DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who said in September that he has “full confidence in President Biden’s ability to carry out his job,” reiterated his statement. He noted that the President is always prepared for meetings with precision and accuracy.
Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo also reiterated her previous comments, calling President Biden “one of the most accomplished presidents in American history” and praising his leadership. She described him as “an incisive and extraordinary leader” who is fully engaged in his duties.
Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh, who said in September that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has “total confidence” in the President, reaffirmed those comments this week. She noted that the President has continued to make tough national security decisions and prioritize the safety of U.S. troops.
Other Cabinet members, including Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, and Department of Agriculture, also stood by their previous statements of support for the President.
As President Biden’s term comes to a close, it remains to be seen what the future holds for him. Despite the controversy surrounding his ability to serve out his term, members of his Cabinet continue to stand by him, praising his leadership and accomplishments.
