POLL: Biden Slips to Lowest Approval Rating Since Taking Office
A new poll has revealed that President Joe Biden’s approval rating has slipped to its lowest point since he took office, with only 47% of Americans supporting his presidency. The poll, conducted by the Washington Post and ABC News, indicates a significant drop in popularity, with Biden’s approval rating falling by 5 percentage points since last month.
The poll also shows that a growing number of Americans have become dissatisfied with the President’s handling of key issues, including the economy, healthcare, and immigration. A significant 54% of respondents believe the economy is in a recession, and 65% disapprove of Biden’s handling of the issue. Additionally, 51% of Americans disapprove of his handling of healthcare, and 55% disapprove of his handling of immigration.
The poll also suggests that opposition to Biden among Republicans continues to grow, with 85% of Republicans disapproving of the President’s job performance. However, the survey also reveals that many independents and even some Democrats are losing confidence in Biden, with 54% of independents and 25% of Democrats disapproving of his performance.
The poll suggests that Biden’s approval rating is likely to continue to decline unless he can improve his performance on key issues and address growing concerns among Americans.
