Biden Disgraces Honors with Oprah-Style Medal Handouts

If President Biden’s goal is to anger as many Americans as possible as he exits office, he is exceeding expectations. A recent decision to award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to election denier Hillary Clinton and left-wing billionaire George Soros is a prime example.

The move has sparked outrage, with many viewing it as an “Oprah-ization” of handing out medals. This comes after Biden previously gave a blanket pardon to his son, Hunter, and awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal to Liz Cheney and Rep. Bennie Thompson for their work on the Jan. 6 Committee.

The award to Soros is particularly egregious, given his billions in activism have had a significant impact on the American justice system. For instance, his funding of Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney, has led to the city’s streets becoming a “dystopian hellscape.”

Soros’ philosophy is to be as soft on crime as possible, not enforcing many laws already on the books. This has allowed cities to become Third World-like, with crime rates skyrocketing. It’s surprising, then, that the sitting president of the United States would award him a prestigious medal.

Other controversies surrounding the award include Soros’ funding of anti-Israel protests, which have further divided the country and indoctrinated students into Hamas-loving robots. In contrast, deserving individuals like Daniel Penny, a Marine veteran who saved subway passengers from harm, have not received recognition from the administration.

The move has also sparked criticism of the Presidential Medal of Freedom itself, with some viewing it as worthless due to its devalued state under this administration. As President Biden exits office, he will likely be remembered as the most unpopular president in decades.
