Beyoncé Shines at NFL Halftime Show on Netflix.

Beyoncé Steals the Show with Star-Studded Christmas Day Halftime Performance

The Queen of Music, Beyoncé, brought the house down with a top-notch performance on Christmas Day, stealing the spotlight from the Houston Texans’ game against the Baltimore Ravens. The sold-out crowd at NRG Stadium was treated to a star-studded show featuring guest appearances from Post Malone, Shaboozey, and Beyoncé’s 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

The performance kicked off with a pretaped segment, where Beyoncé rode a white horse while wearing a white cowboy hat, performing “16 Carriages” from her Cowboy Carter album. She was later joined by rising country singers for a cover of The Beatles’ “Blackbird,” showcasing her vocal prowess.

The live show began with Beyoncé performing “Ya Ya” in a bedazzled white leotard and matching chaps, bringing big energy and vocal precision. Dozens of dancers and musicians performed on the bleachers, evoking memories of her groundbreaking 2018 Coachella performance.

Shaboozey joined Beyoncé for “Spaghetti” and then Post Malone took the stage for “Levi’s Jeans,” wearing denim to match the performance. Blue Ivy got a roaring cheer from the audience when she danced beside her mom during “Texas Hold ‘Em,” a country and pop chart-topper.

Beyoncé’s performance was so electric that it may have solidified the Christmas Day halftime slot as a sought-after spectacle, rivaling the coveted Super Bowl halftime performance gig. With the timing perfect for top-tier musicians, the NFL may have created a new golden moment, especially considering the final Grammy voting takes place over the holidays. Beyoncé is the leading nominee, with 10 nods including all four country music honors.

The show closed with Beyoncé riding above the stage, performing her cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” while riding in a car. She thanked the crowd, saying “Merry Christmas! God Bless y’all. Thank you so much!” The performance was a testament to Beyoncé’s musical prowess and her ability to bring people together.
