Benjamin Netanyahu to undergo surgery to remove prostate amid UTI diagnosis.

On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underwent a medical examination at Hadassah Hospital, where a urinary tract infection caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia was diagnosed. The infection was effectively treated with antibiotics, and Netanyahu will now undergo a procedure to remove the prostate.

The Prime Minister’s office announced on Saturday that Netanyahu will undergo the procedure tomorrow and that details will be provided later. Despite his upcoming surgery, the cabinet meeting scheduled for Sunday will go ahead as planned.

Netanyahu’s health issues began on Wednesday, but no notifications about his health were issued until now. As a result, he will not appear in court on Monday as scheduled, and there is a possibility he may also not appear on Tuesday and Wednesday.
