There’s No Cult Like Celebrity in Mark Anthony Green’s Thriller ‘Opus’
A new thriller from A24, out in theaters on March 14, “Opus” directed by Mark Anthony Green, invites audiences into a world of excess and danger when a reclusive rock star, Moretti (John Malkovich), surprises the world with a new album after almost three decades. Ayo Edebiri, best known for her breakout role on FX’s “The Bear”, joins a team of select journalists, including Juliette Lewis, Murray Hamilton, and Amber Midthunder to Moretti’s remote compound. “Edebiri takes on her lead role in addition to her continued work as the director of her own projects and voice roles on “Inside Out 2.”
The film was written and directed by Mark Anthony Green, while Tatanka Means and Stephanie Suganami rounded out the remaining cast.
