At Least 10 Teenagers Injured in Mass Shooting Outside Queens Nightclub

At least 10 people, mostly teenagers, were injured in a mass shooting outside a nightclub in Queens on Wednesday night. The shooting occurred around 11:20pm near the Amazura nightclub in Jamaica, where a private event was taking place.

According to police and sources, a group of four men fired at least 30 gunshots into a crowd that had gathered outside the club. The victims, ranging in age from 16 to 20, included six females and four males. All of the victims were taken to nearby hospitals, where they are expected to survive.

None of the victims are in critical condition, and police are searching for a light-colored sedan in connection with the shooting. The victims were transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen Children’s Medical Center.

A massive police and ambulance response was seen outside the club, with photos showing dozens of evidence markers on the street and sidewalk. Amazura, the nightclub, has a capacity for 4,000 people and regularly hosts DJs and live performances.

The shooting is under investigation, and this is a breaking story. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
