Anna Kournikova spotted in wheelchair, sparking health concerns after two-year absence.

Anna Kournikova Spotted in a Wheelchair at Luxury Shopping Centre with Daughters

Retired tennis icon Anna Kournikova, 43, has been spotted in a wheelchair at the Bal Harbour shopping centre in Miami, Florida. The 8th-ranked tennis player in the world at her peak, Kournikova has not been seen in public for two years.

Accompanied by her two daughters, Lucy, 7, and Maria, 4, as well as some friends, Kournikova was snapped talking and laughing together in the shopping centre’s car park. Her daughters wore matching white t-shirts and jeans, while Kournikova wore an orthopedic boot on one of her feet, suggesting a recent injury.

Kournikova’s tennis career was cut short due to a string of back problems, which led to her early retirement at the age of 21. During her career, she won 16 doubles titles and reached the No.1 ranking in the doubles game in 1999. She was also a prominent model and was voted the sexiest woman in the world in 2002.

The Russian-born athlete has since settled into family life, married to singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias, with whom she has three children. Iglesias has spoken openly about his family life, saying he cherishes spending time with his children. The couple’s daughters, as well as their son Nicholas, have been kept out of the public eye, apart from a rare appearance.

Kournikova’s latest sighting has sparked major health concerns, given her recent use of a wheelchair. The tennis star’s low profile and rare public appearances have led to speculation about her current health and well-being.
