In a shocking and disturbing incident, a 66-year-old pub owner in Savannah, Georgia, was allegedly attacked by two men disguised as Amazon delivery employees. The men, wearing blue Amazon jackets with the company’s logo and carrying a cardboard box, knocked on the man’s front door around 8 a.m. on January 11, according to local reports.

The attackers, who were later identified as wearing ski masks to hide their faces, then used a sledgehammer-type weapon to beat the man for nearly eight minutes, leaving him with 14 stitches and multiple head wounds. The neighbors arrived shortly after the attack and found the victim, who is still recovering from the incident.

The perpetrators fled the scene with $80 stolen from the victim, and the police are still searching for the two suspects. An Amazon spokesperson confirmed that the individuals seen in the video were not making a scheduled delivery for the company and that the company monitors the internet for unauthorized Amazon apparel usage, demanding that it be removed where and when possible.

The police are actively investigating the attack and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Savannah PD or CrimeStoppers. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and it is yet to be determined whether it was a random act of violence or something more sinister.
