Alex Cooper, Host of “Call Her Daddy,” Buys Parents a House Worth More Than $100 Million Deal with SiriusXM
Alex Cooper, the host of the popular podcast “Call Her Daddy,” recently surprised her parents by buying them a house after signing a multi-year deal reportedly worth more than $100 million with SiriusXM. Cooper’s parents were moving from their home state of Pennsylvania to Los Angeles, California, and she decided to make the purchase a part of her mother’s 50th birthday present.
Cooper revealed the news on a recent episode of her podcast, sharing that she had always envisioned her parents being happy and thriving, and that buying them a house was a way for her to do just that. She and her husband, producer Matt Kaplan, had been searching for the perfect property, and they finally found a New England-style house that they both loved.
Cooper’s parents fell in love with the house when they came to Los Angeles to look at properties, but they didn’t know that Cooper had secretly put a bid on the house and was actively trying to buy it for them. The moment when Cooper told her parents that she was going to buy them the house was an emotional one, and the whole family cried.
Cooper said that buying her parents a house was the least she could do for all that they had sacrificed for her over the years. She shared that the house is about 10-15 minutes away from where she and Kaplan live, and that it will be renovated before her parents move in the new year.
