Aaron Rodgers, the star quarterback of the New York Jets, expressed his enthusiasm for watching Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s confirmation hearing before the Department of Health and Human Services. Rodgers, who was previously considered as Kennedy’s running mate in the 2024 presidential election, made his comments on “The Pat McAfee Show”.
Rodgers stated that he wanted to watch the hearing to see Kennedy handle the senators, saying, “Just watch him absolutely mop the floor with any of these senators.” He confident that Kennedy is well-prepared and can handle the proceeding without notes.
Rodgers also discussed Kennedy’s initiative to “Make America Healthy Again”, which appears to have gained momentum after the FDA banned red food dye due to potential cancer risk. He praised Kennedy’s efforts to ensure the safety of products and ingredients in the United States, claiming that many products are “terrible for you” and “carcinogenic”.
Rodgers believes that Kennedy’s dedication to public health is commendable, stating, “He’s going to make sure that everything that’s being given to our kids is safe, everything that we’re ingesting on a day-to-day basis is safe, and he’s going to ‘Make America Healthy Again’ or is going to freaking die trying.”
