Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams: Unbeatable Duo as NFL’s Top Scoring Combo?

According to NFL Research, Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams have scored 82 touchdowns, tying them with Dan Marino and Mark Clayton for the third-most TD connections by a QB-WR duo in NFL history, including playoffs. Only Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison (114) and Steve Young and Jerry Rice (92) have connected for more touchdowns.

Davante Adams, who was acquired by the New York Jets via trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, reached 100 career TD catches in a Week 15 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He recorded nine catches for 198 receiving yards and two scores, ending the team’s four-game losing streak.

From eight seasons together in Green Bay and now in New York, Adams is grateful for Rodgers’ career and praised the 41-year-old quarterback’s 20th season. “We’ve had some special connections in the past, so it’d be great,” Adams said. “And, obviously, it would be a big, big thing for him. Not that he needs more accolades and more milestones, but you might as well keep racking them up while you can.”

The duo will look to add to their impressive total on Sunday and in the regular season finale against the Miami Dolphins.
